England Athletics affiliation
This only applies to RRC First Claim members. If you are a second-claimer with the RRC then you need to affiliate to EA through your First-Claim club.
All competitive (still running in races) 1st Claim RRC members are reminded that to enter EA permit races they should be EA affiliated. This can only be done via the RRC, their 1st Claim club, and NOT direct to EA. Payment of £5 now covers them for all races entered until 31st March 2010 and they then only need to pay the basic affiliated race entry fee. The quicker it’s done, the greater the benefit! Send a cheque for £5 payable to ‘England Athletics’ to our Chairman and he will do the rest. EA are currently doing a print run of registration documentation once per calendar month. It then takes them time to send out the documents. Members should therefore allow about 2 months after payment for documentation to arrive. Any RRC first claim member having problems should initially contact the Chairman. We currently have in excess of 40 first claim RRC members registered successfully.
Subscriptions for 2010
It's nearly time for renewal of your subscription, which remains at £12.50 (£15.00 for a joint pair). Details have been provided with your current issue of Roadrunner, which should have arrived with you by now. The promised Paypal payment system on the website is not yet in operation.
