RRC Sub-Ultra Championship
The table below is for illustrative purposes only
For 2012 and subsequently the Sub_Ultra results will be based on best performances at 10 km, half marathon and marathon. (Since 10 mile races are becoming increasingly rare, 10 miles has been replaced by 10 km for the 2012 and future results.)
Furthermore, it was apparent that the system of simply adding times together tended to favour those good at the marathon distance, and consideration of this fact has resulted in a further change: the total time will now be determined by summing the marathon time, the half marathon time x2, and the 10 km time x4.22; the winner, of course, being the one with the smallest total.
The table below shows how these calculations are made.
